Research interests

Research of urothelial cell's normal, alternative and pathological differentiation by using animal models of urothelial regeneration after injury, animal model and human samples of cystitis, preneoplastic lesions and urinary bladder cancer. Recent research topics are focused on detection and targeting of cancer urothelial cells by lectins, protective role of vitamin A against bladder cancer and cystitis.
