Human amniotic membrane homogenate as a potential treatment for bladder cancer

In a study published in Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, we demostrated that human amniotic membrane homogenate significantly decreased the adhesion, growth, and proliferation of human bladder invasive and papillary cancer urothelial cells, while it did not affect normal urothelial cells in various in vitro models. Our findings strengthen the idea of the potential clinical application of hAM for bladder cancer treatment. Read more here.
